Truckstop Ministries, Inc. 10:20 Prayer Impact
The ministry of TMI desires to build spiritual walls within the trucking industry and adhere to the words of Isaiah 54:2-3 — “Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations; spare not; lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.” To fulfill this vision, our ministry depends on the power of prayer.
Our ministry is committed to being effective in reaching those involved in the trucking industry with the good news of God’s love. To fulfill this vision, our ministry depends on the power of prayer. Therefore, the leadership of TMI is asking YOU to help us, through the catalyst of prayer, to carry out the TMI Mission Statement:
“Truckstop Ministries, Inc. seeks to partner with local churches in identifying and equipping those called to this ministry, according to His purpose, operating within the parameters and guidelines set forth by the Executive Board of TMI.”
10:20 Driver-Focused Prayer
Do you remember the inspirational prayer on I-70 a few years ago? Fifty Christian Truckers got together to pray that the sniper terrorizing the Washington, DC area would be caught. Ron Lantz of Ludlow, KY told the other Truckers there that perhaps God was going to use them to catch the sniper. The rest is now history—the snipers were taken into custody without incident. Truly, there is no greater force to be reckoned with than the power of prayer!
S.D. Gordon said, “The greatest thing anyone can do for God or man is to pray!” Thus, TMI is encouraging Drivers to become part of a focused prayer effort. Since 10-20 is radio code for “location,” we thought 10:20 would be a good time to pray, no matter your location! Experience the power of prayer when hundreds of Drivers across the nation unite in prayer every day at 10:20 AM (and/or PM). What a force this will be within an industry that moves America!
Ministry-Focused Prayer
TMI desires to build spiritual walls within the trucking industry and adhere to the words of Isaiah 54:2 —“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.”
When you commit to be a prayer partner with TMI, you'll receive a monthly invitation to join us in a day of prayer, each with a specific theme and focus.
Chapel-Focused Prayer
Is there a TMI Chapel in your area? If so, would you consider supporting the local team of Chaplains by being a part of their local prayer team and committing to pray for them? The ministry scope at each Chapel varies, depending on the location and available manpower. Your prayerful support could make the difference! Would you pray about heading up such a team?

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. (Ephesians 3:14-21)
