Jan and I are thankful to be a part of a group that meets each year the day before the truck show in Louisville, (M.A.T.S.) opens, all the trucking ministries, and anyone that ministers to truck drivers, meet for a time of fellowship and discussion. We ask that each new attendee share what their ministry to truck drivers is and how they go about it. Then we have progress reports from the rest, a time of prayer requests and praise reports, then, all who can, go out to dinner together. If you minister to truck drivers and/or their families, you are invited to be a part of this meeting next year. Just send your contact information to us and we will contact you early next year, but plan for Wednesday, the day before the show opens, which is highly advertised.
There were 20 in attendance representing 5 ministries.

The flag in front of our office, seen on the right, is dedicated to the memory   of:
Matthew Metcalf (the 12 year old son of Owner-Operator Dan and Susan Metcalf), Maggie Hunter (the 6 year old daughter of our son, Truck Driver and dock worker Joey and Trina Hunter), and Chance Rodgers (the 15 year old grandson of Owner-Operator Jim Rodgers). All of these young people have left holes in our hearts that will only be filled when we see them again in Heaven.
